Doxie Designs Word Frame Freebie

I woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, and its still snowing, although I don't know that its going to really give us lots, but its our first for this winter! I guess that means winter is finally here, it was 70 earlier in the week, and now its freezing...guess thats the way it goes. I hope everyone will have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!! Don't eat to much, and enjoy your time with family, friends, or your alone time, whatever you happen to be having. For all of you wonderful friends who don't live in the US, so aren't celebrating Thanksgiving, have a great day anyway!! :)

Before I get to much into cooking I thought I would come post some word frames for you, my way of saying Happy Thanksgiving! I did three shapes, and each shape comes with the word Thankful, and Thanksgiving, so can be used for those of you outside the US, as I'm sure your thankful about many things too! They are also all in PNG files, AND PSD files because if you want to put the frame around a picture, and want the picture just inside of the frame, I thought it would be easier for you, if I had a shape, that you could use, to cut out the picture to the exact size. Of course you could have the photo a little bigger, so the words are actually ON the photo, its up to you. I hope you can use these, and will enjoy them!!

Download link is on the freebie page, of my google group, and will only be there through Thanksgiving weekend! It will come down sometime on Monday morning! I would love to know if you like these...and if the PSD file was helpful! It will help me know if I should ever make any more...and if I do make more, if I need to bother with the PSD files! So please leave me a comment, and let me know! Thanks!

I also gotta tell you about some REALLY cool frame packs that Blushbutter made. I don't know if you remember, but earlier in the month, I was looking for a round frame, and didn't really want to use lace even though I love it, because I didn't know if it would go with my Doxie, but that's what I ended up using....I liked the layout once it was done thankfully. LOL

Well Blushbutter saw me say that I searched high and low through my kits for a round frame, and had trouble finding any......sooo she made a bunch!!! She has three colors of circle frame packs (29 frames in each pack) and I think its going to be hard to decide which color to get first, I'm still going back and forth between pink, and cream! LOL There are lace ones, ribbon ones, stitch ones...lots of different kinds of things, made into a round frame. You really should go look at her blog here, because she has several other previews of them, including some with some "close ups". She has some cool cardboard frames too, that she has used in some layouts already. So go check them out, and get one or two...or all of them! LOL I'm going to be running in there to get one as soon as I can get back to scrappin I think, cause I do LOVE them, and I really don't think I will have trouble finding a round frame now!! *giggle*

Isn't this cute!! LOL I just had to put this in here to, along with the one above, cause I thought they were adorable! However, I'm not going to be eating beef...gotta love that Turkey!!!! *giggle*

Have a great Thanksgiving, and don't do TO much shopping this weekend!! LOL Thanks so much for all your comments and feedback!!

Doxie Designs Stories of Yesteryear Freebie

This is not a freebie anymore, it is however in my store here, if you would like to buy it. Sorry if you missed it as a freebie!

How many of you journal on your layouts? I realize that there isn't lots to say, for some pictures, but for others, they have a story, that would be really interesting for your family to know in the future. I was taught by my Uncle Orison, that its really important to get the names and dates as much as possible on pictures, so I usually try to do at least that much journaling. However, if there is a story, or just an interesting tidbit, that goes with the pictures, I have also been trying to get that with them too.

This kit, was born, because I have a love for a good story, and I think its important to read to your children, as well as to tell stories with your photo's, and journaling on a page. If you make scrapbook pages, with journaling on them, not just pictures, that will make the album all the more precious to your family, in the future. Maybe one day, your grand kids...great nieces and nephews...or whoever is important in your life, will want to read your scrapbooks, not just other storybooks. So try some journaling on your scrapbook pages, its a great way to save your story, for future generations!!

Your journaling doesn't have to be perfect, or anything, it will mean a lot more, if it sounds like you... like you are sitting there telling the story, in your own words, and your own way. That way, it will seem like you are close to them, even if you are miles away, or long gone. So don't worry about it not being good enough, you are leaving part of yourself on the page, and that's all that matters.

This is a layout I made, with Stories of Yesteryear and the journaling reads:

Galen called me one day, on his cell phone, and told me to grab my camera, and step out the front door, and take his picture. I got out there, and saw him walking across the yard toward me like this.

I snapped a couple pictures, and then he put them on one of his forums that has a liars spot, for joking around, saying this was his barn hen, Falcon, and that he was teaching her to hunt rabbits.

I thought it really did fit the photo, even though he isn't doing that. LOL His chickens are just way to friendly. He enjoys them though, so I guess that’s ok!

I just had to do a layout with some journaling, cause I do love books in kits, even though I don't think my book is real great. I am not real great with the burn tool yet, so the book doesn't look fantastic. Hopefully there is something in this kit, that you can use though!! I hope you enjoy it, and if you use it, and can, I would love for you to leave me a link on my blog, so I can go view your layout! I had fun making it, and learned a few new things, so I guess that counts for something! :) Special thanks to Bannerwoman, Monica Larson, and atomic cupcake for commercial use items, used in the making of this kit.

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it! Please leave me a comment on my blog, if you download it!! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Edited--For those of you who don't want to bother leaving a comment, fine...please go and visit Hummie's blog post here, and please READ it! For those of you who do take the time to say a simple thanks, THANK YOU!! And you can visit Hummie's blog, and pick up the cool arrows she has in that same post!!! :)

Doxie Designs Cluster Frames - Color

I was just messing with psp and seeing how easy it would be to color something like my cluster frames, and yet not mess up the dropshadow, and then I thought why not do a few and put them on my blog, for those of you, who may not have thought to do that kinda thing yet. So I took one of them, changed it to several different colors, zipped them up and here they are!! Feel free to grab them if you would like to. Also feel free to color the ones you have gotten here before, if you would like to!! Of course, I don't know if any of you would really want to color them, but if you would like to, its really easy with PSP XI and the new color changer.

Download link for Cluster Frames - Color is gone, sorry!

I would love to know if you like the color version of my frames! Even if its something you don't know how to do, as then I would know if its something I should offer again sometime. So please leave me a comment here on my blog and let me know!

Sorry I haven't gotten around to making anything new for all of you wonderful fans of mine. I am really hoping to start something soon...just can't promise how soon! LOL I think my designing mojo has gone on a nice long vacation. There is a possibility its thinking about coming home, (although I wouldn't hold my breath) because I actually played around and changed my blog banner, Logo (for kit previews), and a couple blinkie's. I haven't played with animation for a while, and didn't want to get to involved, so just did simple ones. The little one is at the bottom of the left column and the large one that I did so I could change the banner on the Top Digi Blogs site I have my blog listed on can be viewed on my About Me post, unless you want to go searching for it on the other site! I would love to know what you think of my new banner, logo, etc! Should I have left them alone, and kept my old ones? LOL I'm not real good at making a banner that I love, so it took awhile, and this is what I finally ended up with.

Our d-link router died for getting on the net, and I didn't figure it would be under warranty but I called them up, hoping it was fixable, and not totally dead, and they had me try several things, but when it wouldn't work, they said they would replace it. I mentioned that while I don't remember for sure when we got it, I really didn't think it was under warranty, but they still said they would replace it. We mailed it off today, so hopefully sometime next week we will all be able to get on the net at the same time again!! LOL We are going through the modem now, and so only one at a time can be hooked up to it. I am just really amazed that they are replacing it for free! Course maybe I shouldn't say anything till we actually get a new one, but still just them saying they will, is amazing! LOL

I hope you all are having a good week! Don't forget to let me know what you think of my new banner, and if the colored frames are of any use!!

Doxie Designs Rose of Friendship Freebie

Hi Ladies, Here finally is another small kit I put together. I hope you enjoy it. I have been so lucky to have made many new friends in the digiscrappin world so I wanted to do a kit for friendship. Yellow Roses are for friendship, so naturally I had to have a yellow rose, and besides, I love roses. :) As usual I had trouble thinking of what to include in the kit, so its not all that big! LOL Feel free to leave me a comment saying what you like to see in kits, so I can refer back to it, when I attempt to make another one! I won't be advertising this freebie anywhere since it seems to get out by some of you posting it, (I don't mind btw *smiles*) and also since its for "friends" and alot of you visit my blog already! Thank you for that!

Note: Freebie link is on my goggle group. Look for Rose Of Friendship link under kits. You have to be a member of my group to get it, and to become a member you have to post something in the box, where is says to when you apply. If you don't type at least Hi, I won't approve you, sorry! If your worried about to many e-mails, its not an open group, you will only receive my blog posts, but if you don't want even that much, just go no mail, I don't mind. Thanks!

Thanks for those of you who left a comment for Jamie in my last post! If you haven't left her one yet, please do! I think she is thinking about working on a freebie for you all, but I would sure like to see more comments for her, before I post it! So after you leave a comment here (which I would like you to do, if you take my kit as usual) please go down to the next post, and read it, and leave her a comment to if you haven't, and like her kits!!

Well I didn't get very far on those last two layouts I have to do, that I can't share yet, so I will be working on them again today. And tomorrow, if need be, hopefully I can get them done before the 4th. So needless to say, I probably won't be posting here for a few more days, unless I get them done, and manage another layout to share so I just want to wish all of you from the US a Happy 4th of July!! I love this holiday, partly because its the weekend my DH and I got engaged, and partly because I love fireworks! LOL

Sixteen years ago, on the 4th of July we were in Kansas at my Great Aunts house. It was such a fun weekend, my DH lived and worked in KS at the time, so he naturally drove out to meet us there, and had that "talk" with my Dad, course this was after we had taken some pictures of us for the papers, so everyone knew but it just wasn't official till they "talked". *giggle* DH had sent me a rose to my Aunts house, it was there when we arrived, and she tried to tell me it was for her, she loved to tease. Naturally I didn't believe her, but it was funny. Ah the memories! LOL I need to scrap them, yep I have pictures because my Uncle tagged along too, snapping those pictures right and left. Everyone had a great weekend, and I think Aunt Betty was thrilled that she was in the middle of the "engagement". Course the whole reason Uncle Orison came with us, was because he knew it was probably going to happen. I guess I had a very public (family wise) courtship and engagement, but love the memories it gave me! I have been so blessed!

There I go, rambling again. LOL Have a great week and leave me a comment on my blog if you take my freebie. Thanks!!

Doxie Designs Long Narrow Rectangle Cluster Frames

I hope you all like these this time. They are a little different, but I am still calling them "cluster frames" just because I don't know what else to call them! LOL Some time I will do some that will work better with vertical pictures, if you just want to use one picture for each cluster, because these will probably work best for Horizonal. Make sure your logged into the google group before you try to go get the link, otherwise, you won't be able to!! If you have applied to the group, but haven't been approved, try again, because either you didn't type anything into the box, so I deleted it, or something happen! I have approved all that have come through, least all that said something! If any of you have trouble, please e-mail me, so I can respond!! I don't get your e-mail address if you just leave a comment. I do LOVE to get comments though, too!! My contact me page has my address....its just not clickable! LOL

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed them!

I've gotten so many e-mails from my yahoo groups and Shawns forum wishing me happy birthday already today!! There are so many nice ladies in the scrapbooking groups, I feel so blessed to be part of them. I've never had this many birthday wishes before!! LOL Thank you so much ladies!! You are the best!!

I came in to turn my computer on this morning, and my office was decorated with balloons, and streamers and a card from my sister-in-law. She had to get up at 4 to do it, because I didn't go to bed till midnight, since I was reading a book, and didn't want to till I was done. Sorry KT!! LOL It was a nice surprise though! Then when my computer came on, msn poped up with a Happy Birthday message from my parents, I just love that you can leave offline messages now on msn, because that was nice to see first thing too!

Anyway, I better go shopping!!! LOL First stop, Blushbutters new kit. Then probably Tina Williams, (I just got one from Shawn and Lara so will prob wait on theirs for later LOL) and then look through my e-mails and see all the coupons I got from the different sites, because its my birthday, and see where I go from there! Can't spend lots, but I can look at lots, and then decide! I get a free kit from Digital Scrapbook place, and I know Digi Shop Talk sent out a long list of coupons, didn't look real close to see just what, but there are several from different designers. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Please leave me a comment here on my blog, if you take my frames! Thanks!!

Doxie Designs Mother's Pansies Freebie

This is not a freebie anymore, you can find it in my store here, if you would like to buy it. Sorry if you missed it as a freebie!

Happy Mothers Day!!
(a little early!)

I hope you all have a wonderful mothers day, and can enjoy your day with family. This kit is full of Pansies, for my Mother who loves them. (And purple as that's her favorite color! LOL And mine!) She likes blue also, so I added a touch of that. Included is a couple of blank glass ovals with 9 descriptive words to fit on them, including...Beloved, Treasured, and Precious, and 7 titles including...Mother, Grandmother, and Aunt so you can add words that describe the lady you are honoring. Of course you don't have to use this for Mothers day, you can (and should) honor the wonderful, special ladies in your life, all year long. This is my first "lace" so no guaranties on how good it is. Or what it will look like once printed! Its actually not made from the ground up, but I used a scanned image I got, soooo like I say....no promises!

I hope you have fun with the kit, it was a lot of fun to make. It is however my last kit of this size, at least for a while, so I can have more time for layouts (especially the ones for my Mom and Dad's anniversary album if I want to try to get it done on time!! LOL), and maybe even the great outdoors! Once in a while I may make a bigger one...if I have time, and can think of what to include...time will tell how often that is. Of course you can also get some of my work by joining the challenges at Designs by J3!!

Have a Great Mothers Day weekend!!!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!

Please leave me a comment here on my blog, if you download my kit! Thank You!!

Element challenge at J3 Designs and Doxie Designs Wordart freebie.

A new Element Challenge is up at J3 Designs. Check it out here. I hope some of you will join us! The posting bonus is pictured to the left, and supplied by the Mod Squad. There is also a free word art for the challenge!!

I am going to be out of town a few days. Tomorrow I'm going over to my parents house. I haven't gotten much done lately, Scrapbooking wise, so I guess this is a good time to leave, so maybe when I get back, I can get back to doing a few more layouts.

It was hot yesterday here, I can't believe how its cold one day, hot the next, with not much just right, in between! I hope its not to hot when we are at Mom and Dad's!!! LOL

I won't be able to scrap on National Scrapbooking Day since I will be gone, but for those of you who are able to, I hope you have a great time!! I thought I would share a set of 5 Wordart that I had made to use on some of my past layouts, for those of you who like wordart. This is an early celebration of National Scrapbooking Day, since I will be gone on that day, and not able to post it. The background I used on the wordart preview, is from the Mod Squad's element challenge posting bonus shown above. Complete the challenge, and you will recieve the kit!!

Download link is gone, sorry if you missed it!

NOTICE: This will be the LAST freebie link that is openly available on my blog. When I get back next week, I plan on putting all the freebie links on my blog, over on a page in my google group. Then ALL of the links on my blog will leave. I will still have the previews on my blog, so you can see what's available, because I won't have pictures on the group. So if you want to continue getting my freebies, you will HAVE to sign up for my google group! Sorry!! Next Kit will be posted on Fri, or Sat, before Mothers Day!!!! That link will ONLY be in the google group. If you missed the post, where I explained WHY this would probably happen, you can go read it here!

I thought I would share another poem from the book Poems that Touch the Heart compiled by A.L. Alexander I picked this one because while my home is in Nebraska...and I adore it, I also call Mom and Dad's home, especially when I am over there, because I grew up there, and like this poem says...

Home Is Where There's One To Love Us.

Home's not merely four square walls,
Though with pictures hung and gilded;
Home is where Affection calls,
Filled with shrines the Heart hath builded!
Home!--go watch the faithful dove,
Sailing 'neath the heaven above us;
Home is where there's one to love!
Home is where there's one to love us!

Home's not merely roof and room--
It needs something to endear it;
Home is where the heart can bloom,
Where there's some kind lip to cheer it!
What is home with none to meet,
None to welcome, none to greet us?
Home is sweet--and only sweet--
Where there's one we love to meet us!!

--Charles Swain

I hope all of you have a great week and weekend!! I will see ya all (or type to ya anyway LOL) when I get Home from home. Although Mom and Dad...I will see you tomorrow!!

Please leave me a comment, if you take my wordart. Thanks so much!!

Doxie Designs Signs of Spring Freebie

This is no longer a freebie, you can find it in my store here, if you would like to buy it. Sorry if you missed it as a freebie.

I am finally posting my newest kit...newest finished kit, as I am working on another one too. I hope you all can use it. I love sping, so thought I would share a spring kit with you this time. Special thanks to atomic cupcake.

Like I said, I am working on another kit, that I will post Mothers Day weekend. Its with pansys because my Mom loves them. I think these will be my last two BIG kits for a little while, (at least through summer) so I can get more layouts done, when I am on the computer. With helping with mini kits for the challenges at J3 Designs, I need to slow down a little bit on making other things. I hope to still make some small ones here and there, or even just elements if I can think of anything. But will will see how much time I have, and how much I am wanting to make things. I would like to be able to get out and enjoy the warm weather too!! Hopefully I can think of some things to make, so I can at least do a quick mini kit here and there. Just have to get the ideas flowing!

So don't forget to come back Mothers Day weekend for a new big kit!! And check back now and then, in case I make something else. And join the challenges at J3 Designs for some fun, and more freebies!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!

Please leave me a comment if you download my kit!!!

Doxie Designs Cluster Frames - Shapes edition

I finally got them done!! Yep, it took me a while, but here they are!! The Shapes version, of my cluster frames!! Don't forget you can get two more of them (both different than these or the other batch I made!) if you join in the fun at Designs by J3. All you have to do is make a frame for the challenge. The Gallery at Designs by J3 has all the frames we have so far, and if you participate, you will get all of them! So hurry over today, the challenge runs through the end of March!

I also did a layout with the leaf one. That leaf one was the hardest to make! Don't think I will do more of them! LOL Least not right away. Anyway these are more pictures from last fall! I just LOVE this background!!!

Kit Credit: Favoring Fall by Lara Payton at Dusty Bear

Well I'm going to get off here for now, cause I almost feel like I'm getting sick. Maybe I will actually take a nap for a change, I can't usually manage one, I find it hard to sleep during the day, but maybe today's my lucky day!! LOL I will post the layout in my galleries later, I guess!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed them! Tutorial for using them is here.

Please leave a comment for me if you do!

Newest House News, baby book, and Doxie Designs Freebie

This is no longer a freebie, you can find it in my store here, if you would like to buy it. Sorry if you missed it as a freebie.

Well I finally gave up trying to think of things to add to the kit, and decieded to upload it! LOL So I hope you all can use this one! I had fun with the flowers (as you can see since its mostly flowers! LOL).

We got an e-mail from our real estate agent, and the closing on our old house is set for the 13th, so I am praying really hard that it actually goes through this time!!! I am getting excited, and it will be hard to do to much on Tuesday I am sure but I will be dancing around like a crazy woman, when we hear it happened! LOL Well at least in my head I will be, I could contain myself since my sister-in-law could be around....but doubt it, she knows I am crazy anyway, so may as well prove it! LOL (again, as I am sure I have shown her that side alot already! ROFL) Anyway continued prayers would be wonderful!! Thanks!!

Also here is a picture of some of the baby book I made for our new little niece. I don't have two of the pictures I need so the middle two pages arn't shown, but at least you can get an idea of what its like. I thought it was perfect for me to give, since I am soooooooo in love with scrappin! LOL I got her some other things too, but just thought I would share this, since its scrapbooking! Kit Credit for the little baby book layouts is: Butterfly Kisses, March 07 group kit at Gotta Pixel.

Ok, I guess you would like the link to the kit huh! LOL Ok, enjoy!! And please leave a comment on my BLOG if you take it! Thanks!!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!

Doxie Designs Cluster Frames

Ok, I took a little side trip today, and made some more cluster frames. (My name for them....didn't know what else to call them! LOL) I enjoyed it yesterday, so thought I would do a few more today, and put them on here. That way I don't have to do more for a while, unless my picture just doesn't work for the ones I did today. NOT that I will do a layout with these all the time, but don't mind repeating myself now and then. LOL I hope some of you can find a use for them!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it! Photos and Background NOT included....Background is from the new kit I am working on.

If you need to know how I used the frames all I did was select the outside area, invert, contract 15 pixels, invert again, then delete the outside area of the photo. That way you don't have any of the photo sticking out from under the frame. I had to put the drop shadow in there, so it looked like photo's stacked on top of each other when you were finished. Sorry about that, if you don't like the drop shadow I used, or the way I stacked them, feel free to make your own, I just thought I would share these in case someone wants to use some already made.

Now I will get back to scrapping! LOL If I manage a layout today, I will add it here, if not hopefully I will tomorrow! I think its almost easier to have a kit I have to work with, and go looking for pictures to use with it, than to have pictures I want to scrap, and have to go looking through all my kits for one to work. The latter is what I have been doing lately, and its not working as well! Plus it takes a lot longer that way too!!

Don't forget to leave me some love if you take the freebie!!! Thanks!!

After you invert (this is in PSPX) you go to Selections, Modify, Contract, and put 15 in that box then push ok. I can try to make a tutorial, but I doubt it will be till next week! Sorry, but I think if the roads are good this weekend, we will be busy with my sister-in-law. And the tut will be in PSPX as thats the program I know the best.

Unexpected little trip and Doxie Designs freebie

We had to make a run up to Lincoln today unexpectedly. DH had to have a test done, and thankfully it turned out ok. We are suppose to get snow, and I was hoping to get home before it started, and thankfully all the way home it was kinda misting heavy, but no ice. Just as we turned into our driveway it started actually snowing! LOL I don't know if we will get much, but they say we could get 5 inches. We will see. I thought it was kinda funny that it started snowing just as we got home, after I had prayed that it would hold off. God has a great sense of humor!! :)

Anyway, I didn't get anything done today naturally, but maybe tomorrow if I'm lucky I can do a layout!!!!! Oh and Fran, thanks for your comment the other day, and yes I know, I do worry to much! I have really been trying to stop it, but I keep having relapses! LOL

To celebrate the fact that the test turned out ok, I uploaded some "painted saws" that I made the other night just playing around. I LOVE real painted saws, and so I got the idea to make one digitally...only once I had one, I didn't know what I was going to do with it! LOL So I put several together, and figured I would post them here. I figured someone might want them! It was a cute idea, I just don't have any pictures I want to use them with right now! LOL Maybe if I put one in a kit sometime, I would be more likely to use it. Because I am used to just working with whats in a kit, not going and using odds and ends. I know, I know, I should try something new now and then!!

Download link is on my google group. Follow the Google Group link, thats in the sidebar, at the top..

Don't forget to leave some love, here in this blog post, if you take it!!! Thanks!

Doxie Designs Minnesota Memories - Winter

I wanted to celebrate the fact that DH and I got our tax forms filled out and mailed today, so I thought I would put another kit on here. I haven't ever gave this away, although I made it a year ago. I don't know why I didn't ever post it, maybe I never thought it was good enough....(not that I really do now, but thought I would put some out that I had, even if they arn't real great! LOL) If you think you can use it, feel free to download it! The pictures on some of the papers are some my Uncle took. This whole kit was made with him in mind. He loved to go ice fishing in Minnesota every winter.

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!

I will probably be putting another kit I have never had on here as a freebie, out in a couple of weeks. It is an older one too. So check back, because I am leaning towards not putting the fact that I posted it on any forums! Read more about how I will be doing my freebies by clicking the link called About the Freebies under Special pages to the left! I also still have other freebie links active, so feel free to get them too!

Remember, the only "payment" I want for my kits is for you to comment HERE on my blog if you take one!! (not where you get the download) Thanks!!

New Kit - Bailey by Doxie Designs

This is no longer a freebie, you can find it in my store here, if you want to buy it. Sorry if you missed it as a freebie.

Ok here is the kit I worked on the last few days...I managed to find my mind long enough to put an end to trying to come up with any more ideas for it, and make a preview. Hopefully I don't loose my mind so much that I try to make another any time soon! LOL Its still kinda fun learning how to make new things, but trying to make enough for a full kit, is just not for me! Course naming things isn't my strong suit either, so I named it Bailey, after a friends grand-daughter. It was her picture that made me want to make it. (she is the baby in the layout I posted yesterday.) I hope someone will have a use for it!

I thought about putting some word art in it, but didn't know what theme to go for, so thought I might wait and pick a theme and do some for another freebie in the next month or so. If I get inspired, and think anyone would want it anyway! LOL So while you are commenting (if you download the kit) feel free to say if you would like any wordart, and what theme you would like...even what you want it to say if you have anything special you want. I will try my best to make some....sometimes my wordart actually turns out ok, better (mostly) than my kits! LOL Course now that I say that, it won't! ROFL Oh well!! All I can do is try.

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!!

Don't forget to leave me some of that love I LOVE so much, if you download my kit!! Thanks!!!

Free QP and Layered Template

Feel free to download this if you want it! I doubt I will make to many layered templates, but it was cool to try one anyway! I did this one by request after a lady saw the layout I did for my 15th Anniversary. I also only did it in 8.5 X 11 as thats the size that I use. Besides I figured MAYBE someone else would like that size too! Sorry if you don't!

Download link is on my google group. Follow the Google Group link, thats in the sidebar, at the top.

I didn't get any scrappin done today, with other things going on, but thats ok, maybe tomorrow....or.... well maybe not Sat, as have some plans, but I might squeeze some in. So anyway I hope all of you are having a good week! Or at the very least surviving this week!

Please leave a comment if you download my QP and template! I would love to know if you even like that size

Changing Seasons Kit

Well I haven't posted much this week, because I have been playing with papers. Shawn and Jamie started talking about doing a kit together, and asked if I would do papers....I said I didn't think so, but that put it into my mind to try and see if I could learn a little about blending to make neat papers. LOL I had been wanting to learn, just hadn't taken the time. So I started playing and then threw a few really easy elements in with them and called it a kit! LOL Its not wonderful but its our Annivserary this month, so I thought I might as well offer a new one to anyone who wants it. I will warn you, if you use DSP or Picture it, the papers may not work. I don't know why, but Jamie tried to open them in her program (and then I tried in Picture it) and they are all smudged so you can't see the design (although I zoomed in and looked at it at 100% and it seemed ok, so who knows). It seems to work in PSP, and Adobe. So good luck, if you can use them fine, if not, I'm sorry, but I don't know how to fix it so you can.

I did go ahead and make papers for the kit Shawn and Jamie were working on. So eventually it may be available at J3 Designs. (The papers don't seem to have the same problem in Picture it!) Once it is, I will post a layout that I did with the kit last night. I wanted to wait till the kit was out, to post it. I had fun, but its not something I would want to do all the time I don't think, because I would run out of designs to fast, and not have anything to give away! LOL Which I like doing now and then. I just don't know how many people like just paper packs which is my favorite thing to make right now, so I don't do much because I don't really like making elements, and can't think of many to make even if I would like making them. So yes, my freebies have been few and far between lately! Sorry!

The link to this kit will be available here, only, for the first few days, and then I will move it to my freebie page!

Download link will be gone by the end of Oct, sorry if you missed it!!

Please leave a comment if you take the kit!! Also send people here to get it, don't just give them the link! Thanks!! And hope you enjoy it!

Edited: I have been playing late this afternoon, and this evening with this bow. I don't know why, but ever since I have tried making things, I have wanted to learn to make a bow. Well I think once again, I give up, but at least I got a little closer this time. I know alot of people make a bow out of ribbon, and take a picture of it, and then cut out the picture, but someday....maybe.....I will make one that looks good, in PSP....or NOT! LOL Anyway this is what I came up with today. What do you think? Hmmm maybe I don't want to know! LOL Be gentle, because I know its not anywhere close to perfect!! Hopefully this try will get me down the road several months, before the urge to try again hits me! LOL Because its so frustrating, and unnecessary, since I don't have to make bows! I just want to figure it out. Silly, Silly me!!

If you would like the bow, you can find the Download link on my google group. Follow the link listed under my special pages section to the left, called Freebie Links.

Thank you so much for your comments!! I love to get them, because it means someone (you) likes my things enough to visit! THANK YOU!!!
